Who we are and where we’re going

Buoy is a new project from the founders of Ria — a startup building practical tools for resilience.

For the past five years, we’ve focused on hardware solutions. But we realized what’s truly missing is a global resilience network that brings people together.

Our vision is to grow Buoy into an open-source ecosystem with federated data, empowering communities everywhere to prepare, respond, and recover at global scale.

About Ria

Build Buoy with us

We’re built Buoy because it’s one of those things we just believe needs to happen. If you believe that too, help us bring community resilience to the world.
